Lookloom is a Shopify app by Tekgen for shoppable galleries and lookbooks. This policy explains what the app at https://lookloom.tekgen.io stores about merchants and what it does not store about shoppers.
What we store about your store
We store only what the app needs to run your galleries.
- Your shop domain, the plan you chose and the Shopify access token Shopify gives the app. The name and email of the staff member who signs in to the app are held in the session Shopify creates for them.
- Your galleries, items, hotspots, captions and settings, and references to the files and products you chose.
- If you connect Instagram or a Facebook Page: the account id and username, the Page id and name, and access tokens that we keep encrypted.
- Daily totals for each gallery, such as views, clicks, add to cart clicks and influenced orders. These are counts, not records of people.
What we do not store about shoppers
Lookloom does not store Shopify customer records, emails, addresses, order details or browsing histories. The app does not ask for the customer or order read scopes from Shopify.
Shopper IP addresses are used only to limit abuse. They are kept in short lived counters that expire within minutes and are never saved with a shopper profile. Our web server does not write them to access logs for the analytics and shopper form addresses.
If you turn on shopper photo submissions or comments, the first name, text, caption and photo a shopper chooses to send are stored until you review them. They are not linked to a Shopify customer. Unreviewed comments and submissions are deleted after 30 days.
Instagram data
When you connect Instagram we use your Facebook login only to find the Instagram Business or Creator account linked to your Page and to read your own posts. We never post, comment or message on your behalf.
Photos you import are copied to your Shopify Files. We do not keep the Instagram image links. You can disconnect at any time in the app, which deletes the stored token at once.
Sharing
We do not sell data. We use hosting, a database and error monitoring (Sentry) providers who process data for us under their own terms. Error reports do not include personal data. We share data when the law requires it.
Keeping and deleting data
Uninstalling the app removes your Instagram token straight away. Shopify then asks the app to erase the rest of your store data, and we do so within 30 days of the uninstall. See the data deletion page for details.
Your rights
Merchants and shoppers can ask what we hold, ask for a correction or ask for deletion by emailing support@tekgen.io. Where privacy law applies, such as the GDPR and the CCPA, those rights are honoured.
